“We looked at tiles and natural stone but the seamless finish won us over. It genuinely looks like a different house.”

Finish 01 of 10
One hand-applied material across the floor, the walls and the shower enclosure. Fully waterproof, seamless from corner to corner, and applied over your existing tiles so there is no demolition and no skip outside the house.
The finish
Grout is where every bathroom ages first. Microcement removes it entirely, so the room stays as clean on year ten as it looked on day one.
Microcement is a cement and polymer coating applied by hand in thin layers, then sealed. In a bathroom that means the floor flows into the walls and the walls flow into the shower with no joins, no edges and no gaps for water or mould to find. The finish is soft and matte, closer to limestone than to concrete, and it is coloured to your brief rather than chosen from a rack of tiles.

Where it works

Floor and three walls in one surface, falls built in to the drain.

Hard-wearing, warm underfoot and simple to wipe clean.

Small rooms feel larger with no visual breaks.

Run the same floor through from the bedroom.
Why clients choose it
Sealed as a complete system with a tanked substrate beneath, so water has nowhere to go.
Applied at 2 to 4mm on top of what is there. No ripping out, no skip, no re-hanging doors.
No grout lines means no scrubbing, no discolouring and no mould creeping along the joints.
A typical bathroom is prepared, coated and sealed in three working days.
Matched to a paint swatch, a RAL reference or a sample from your designer.
Compatible with underfloor heating and noticeably warmer than tiles.

Questions
In most cases yes. The tiles are keyed, primed and skimmed before the microcement goes on. We confirm this on the site visit, and if the tiles are loose or hollow we will tell you.
Not when it is specified for a bathroom. Shower floors get an anti-slip additive in the sealer, and the rest of the room is finished to a grip level similar to honed stone.
Microcement replaces the tray. We form the falls in the substrate so the water drains properly, then coat over it, which is how you get a completely level walk-in shower.
Warm water and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. There are no grout lines to scrub, so cleaning takes a fraction of the time.
