The finish
This is the floor commercial workshops use. In a home garage it changes the space from storage into a room.
The concrete is diamond-ground, primed and coated with a pigmented epoxy base. Decorative flakes are broadcast into the wet coat, then the floor is scraped flat and sealed with a clear, chemical-resistant topcoat in gloss or matte. Choose subtle sand neutrals, cool greys or a bolder multi-colour blend.
